About Us

Hamlet Abbey Ltd was incorporated in 2022 but was Ofsted registered in 2026. We are committed to empowering young people with the skills, confidence, and support they need to achieve greater independence and build positive futures. We recognise that every young person's journey is unique, and our goal is to help them develop the resilience and practical life skills required to thrive in adulthood.

Our Mission

"To empower young people and service users to become independent and self-reliant by equipping them with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives and make positive contributions to their communities."

Our Vision

We believe that every person has the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of their race, religion, gender, culture, language, ability, sexuality, or social circumstances.

We envision a society where all young people have the opportunity to:

  • Reach their personal, educational, and professional potential.
  • Develop the confidence and resilience needed to navigate adulthood successfully.
  • Achieve economic well-being and meaningful independence.
  • Feel valued, included, and empowered to shape their own futures.

We recognise that these outcomes are most likely to be achieved when young people experience trusting relationships, consistent support, and environments where they are respected as individuals.

Our Values

Our values underpin everything we do and guide the way we support young people every day.

Partnership and Collaboration

We work closely with young people, service users, families, and professionals to continuously improve and deliver services that respond to individual needs.

Respect and Individuality

We value every person as a unique individual and recognise the strengths, talents, experiences, and contributions they bring to their communities.

Equality and Inclusion

We embrace diversity, celebrate difference, and provide inclusive services that promote equality, fairness, and opportunity for all.

Excellence and Quality

We are committed to delivering high-quality support that improves outcomes, transforms lives, and helps young people achieve lasting independence.

Empowerment and Independence

We encourage young people to build confidence, make informed choices, take positive risks, and develop the skills needed to lead successful and fulfilling adult lives.

Quality Assurance

We have established robust quality assurance systems to support the setting and achievement of objectives, monitor and evaluate performance, and review outcomes. These processes enable us to identify areas for improvement, implement effective actions, and continually enhance the quality of our services in the best interests of our service users.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and support. We believe that every service user has the right to expect excellence, and Hamlet Abbey continuously monitors its performance against the expectations of the local authority through its Quality Assurance Framework and organisational assurance plan.

We regularly review each young person's Individual Care Plan and every service user's Care and Support Plan in partnership with the individual and relevant professionals. These reviews ensure that identified needs continue to be met, progress is monitored, and any changes in circumstances or emerging needs are promptly reflected within the care plan to ensure support remains responsive, person-centred, and outcome-focused.
